This Privacy Policy explains how Laurelcap Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 806610-U) and the Laurelcap Group of Companies (“Laurelcap”, “we”, “us”) collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data in accordance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).

We collect the personal data you provide through the forms on this website:

  • Enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number, and message.
  • Career application — your name, email address, phone number, preferred location(s), and optionally your LinkedIn/portfolio link and cover letter.
  • E-Invoice details — your name, entity type, company name, tax identification number (TIN), identification type and number, SST number (if any), MSIC code, business activity, contact person and designation, address, email, and phone number.
  • Technical data — standard log and analytics data (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages viewed) collected via our hosting provider and Google Analytics.

3. Why we use your data

We process your personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
  • assess and process your job application;
  • administer LHDN e-invoicing compliance and professional valuation administration;
  • operate, secure, and improve our website; and
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent (given when you submit a form), and where applicable on our compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate business interests, as permitted under the PDPA.

5. Disclosure of your data

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it within the Laurelcap Group of Companies, and to trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (for example our website hosting and email infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, Inc.), and to government authorities such as the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) where required for e-invoicing or by law.

Your data is stored securely on our infrastructure and protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
